I have been hooked on Gene ever since "The Educated Sounds" LP came to my possession few years back and can't stop collecting the music and listening to that fabulous sound that he create. To me Gene is side by side with Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff. An unsung hero treasured by those who know and one truly master of the keyboard! Keep that hammond wailing Gene...

Got my fingers crossed for the Steelers in the 2009 Super Bowl. It will be a great game, and I can't wait. Lisa and I are going to a Super Bowl party down here in Louisiana. Since the Steelers already have one for the thumb, let's start on the other hand.

Just a quick note to let you know my dad and I really enjoy your music. "Soul Serenade" was a gift from him a while back, and my favorite track is "Please Send Me Someone to Love"...
